Louis Murphy struggling with post-concussion symptoms

Raiders receiver Louis Murphy remains out of practice as he deals with symptoms stemming from a concussion he suffered last week.

Vittorio Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Murphy is having trouble with sunlight and might not be back for a couple of days.

Murphy had a bad headache after he was kneed in the helmet by teammate Nnamdi Asomugha during practice Friday. Murphy says it was the first concussion he has ever suffered.

Raiders coach Tom Cable says Murphy will need to pass a series of neurological tests before the team allows him back on the field.

A 2009 fourth-round draft pick out of Florida, Murphy is coming off a very strong rookie season during which he led all Raiders wide receivers with 34 catches for 521 yards and four touchdowns.
