Justin Fargas is officially a Bronco

Michael Bush hasn’t reached OCNN status as a news breaking organization, but he’s officially one-for-one in scoops thus far.

Bush first said on Tuesday evening, that Justin Fargas was joining the Broncos.  On Wednesday, the team made it official.

Fargas figures to have a good chance to make the team.  White is suspended four games to start the season, while Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter are both injured.

An eight-year veteran, Fargas has only played with the Raiders.  He’s averaged 4.1 yards-per-carry for his career, but failed a few physicals over the offseason for undisclosed reasons.

  1. sellout….
You could of joined any team outside the west and retired a raider great. Now you will always be remembered as a enemy just like tim brown.
Tim browns years as a raider have been ereased from My memory because he went to the broncos

  2. Love the guy… Hate the team. If he got banged up running being the Raiders OL, wait til he starts running behind the Broncos injured OL.

  3. Tim Brown did not join the Broncos “Raider Steve.” Bucanneer maybe which is not even an AFC team. Why don’t you do your research “Raider Steve”

  4. Uh I think you mean Buccaneers. But why let facts get in the way of some good hate. I mean, seriously, you have erased yr memories of Tim Brown? TIM BROWN? God, Raider fans suck ass.

  5. @ raidersteve413
You moron, Tim brown didn’t join the Broncos, jerry rice did, Tim Brown played hist last season for the Bucs …
    You idiot …

  6. Raider Great? I know they have been bad since the Cold War, but come on man. The dude played hard, but couldnt start over Michael Bush.

  7. Come on raidersteve413, talk about over the top.
I’m a Raiders fanatic, Fargas was one of my favourites but he was cut, no other team were interested and he wants to remain in the NFL.
Tim Brown was another favourite, he wasnt going to get any playing time with us so Davis let him go and Brown caught his 100th td.
You want the players to be loyal but so its okay for Oakland to cut them ?
Fargas (like Lamont Jordan recently) wont do much for Denver

  8. “Tim browns years as a raider have been ereased from My memory because he went to the broncos”
nice to know those fake/flawed memories can be erased so easily.
and, rice did play for seattle a little, but he retired before broncos camp ended because he wasnt going to make the team.

  9. How could any so called Raider Fan erase Tim Brown from there memory? The guy was a very good player. Only a idiot would say that.

Not all Raiderfans are uninformed idiots….

  11. Just want to pile on the idiot who said Tim brown, played for the donkeys…one of the greatest raiders of all time on the field and off, and one of the greatest receivers ever in the NFL . wouldnt play for the donkeys ,they tried to lure him in his prime when he was a free agent and he wouldnt leave the Raiders. dont pretend to be a Raiders fan, because if you were you would know this. Raider nation Rules……

  12. In March 1994, Tim Bronwn signed a 4 year, $11M contract with the Broncos that included a no trade clause. Brown was a restricted free agent at the time and the Raiders matched the offer.

  13. Fargas was a respectable Raider. Not a Raider Great. Raider Greats were around when we were winners.

  14. I don’t know what is worse. Hearing that Fargas joined the broncos, or reading that there is a raider fan that is ripping on one of the greatest raiders ever… and the fact that these people got thier teams wrong…rice went to the seahawks, and brown went to play with chucky for a year, and trust me ripping on Tim Brown is like ripping on Jon Gruden…both of those guys are raiders.

  15. Ouch. That hurts. A Bronco? Can’t blame him…there isn’t one person on this blog that can’t say they would do anything to stay in the NFL…even if it means playing for the enemy…a Paycheck is a paycheck and Tim Brown and Justin Fargas will all be remember as Raiders. I hope he does well….just not against us.

  16. I am with Raider Steve. I don’t like stabler because he went to the Chiefs, and I gave cut off Howie Long for that year he spent in SD. But Marcus Allen on the other hand I a true Raider

  17. @raidersteve413:
Let me get this straight you said that Justin Fargas could’ve of joined any team outside the west and retired a raider great.
Are you drunk dude? really? GTFOH…your an idiot and have no clue about the sport of football…holly-sh*t…..
    Go back to the bar….

  18. How long do you think his suspension is going to be for?
I have an odd feeling that with Fargas’ past, friends and choices of being in videos involving smoking pot there was alot to this “failed” physicals.
    Fargas claims he was healthy….

  19. Raider fans are idiots! First off, hes a good RB, and helped keep that sorry ass team afloat while Run-DMC was nursing his sore body..
If hes such a trader, why didnt they keep him? And, he couldnt even get on another team, so hes should stay at home and make no money??
Thats the, “just win baby” logic i guess!!

  20. Why isn’t there a mention about Justin being the son of “Huggy Bear” from Starsky & Hutch? Did you not know? I wonder since that’s usually the type of thing you’re usually on top of, lol.

  21. Fargas was a good soldier and a good Raider. That is undisputed. He was cut for whatever reason.
Do I want him to play for the Donkeys? No.
Do I respect his choice to make a living? Yes.
Lay off him. It’s his career and he can play where he wants.

  22. karmathaitch…if you’re going to call Raider Fans idiots….First you should learn to spell…or at least learn how to use “Spell Check”.
    The word is Trator…not Trader.
    Dee Dee Dee to you.
