Rams-Browns one-liners

The Rams improved to 1-1 on the preseason with Saturday night’s 19-17 win over the Browns.

Rams CB Ronald Bartell made his preseason debut Saturday night after missing St. Louis’ exhibition opener with a low ankle sprain.

Rams K Josh Brown went 4-for-4 on field goal attempts against Cleveland.
Rams RB Steven Jackson returned to game action Saturday night, rushing for 20 yards on four carries.
The Rams’ offensive line is making strides.
Browns RB Peyton Hillis looks like a fullback and hits like a linebacker.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer recaps the Browns’ loss to St. Louis.

The Browns’ first-team offense and defense didn’t look good Saturday night.

  1. I know both teams suck, but way to mail it in, Silva. Here’s a few you can add in:
    – The Browns hosted the Rams Saturday night.
    – It rained at the game.
    – Both teams scored.
    But then again, those 3 would have been too in-depth for your skills.

  2. Yeah, what was the point of writing this if you were going to do it so poorly?
    Anyways, after the two fumbles by Jerome Harrison and the one by Josh Cribbs, the offense DID look pretty good. Vickers was a wrecking ball out there for Peyton Hillis to run behind. If you had actually watched the game you would notice that Hillis wasn’t so effective on counter plays that went opposite of Vickers. I think whoever ends up starting needs to follow Vikers lead block instead of trying to dance around like Jerome Harrison tried to do. I’m anxious to see how Hardesty does. Hillis’ performance and Jerome’s fumble fingers lead me to believe that Jerome will be on the bench again.
