Russell Okung expected to miss 2-4 weeks

The Seahawks are down to their third-string left tackle, but the news could have been worse.

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports that No. 6 overall pick Russell Okung will miss the next 2-4 weeks with an ankle sprain, although he “will try” to be ready for Week 1. Seattle is also currently missing backup tackle Ray Willis, so Matt Hasselbeck better keep his head on a swivel during next week’s preseason game.

Okung had mostly impressed in camp and the preseason, but his injury will bring back bad memories of Seattle’s injury-wracked unstable offensive line from 2009.
