After reported ambulance incident, all Chiefs players are fine

Despite the reported use of an ambulance to take a Chiefs player from the practice field to a hospital during practice on Monday, we’ve learned that all members of the team currently are fine.

The identity of the player who was transported by ambulance has not been confirmed.  A Monday night report from Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star hinted that linebacker Cameron Sheffield was the player who was in the ambulance.

Sheffield recently was hospitalized after suffering a neck injury that left him motionless during a preseason game.  He was released from the hospital the next day.

Bottom line?  If it was him, he’s fine.  Whoever it was, he’s fine.

  1. I was thinking the same and TheDPR. We all know the universe evolves around the players and well Florio, but I doubt the ambulance was on a beer run.

  2. Oh. so it wasn’t a beer run it was Weis lunch run. Jimmy Johns may be fast, but they just can’t hold it all.

  3. Did Charlie Weis try to eat Dwayne Bowe again? That man eats his own weight in shrimp every day.

Hilariously insightful creative joke. Joke of the day right here. He came up with this all by himself. Excellent. Magnificent Joke. Second to none.

  5. Can you please name another NFL city where the “journalists” wouldn’t be able to figure out who was in the ambulance?
Seriously, minor league town, minor league teams, high school journalism.

  6. We need that ambulance that was in Madden 95…. When it came out and ran over everybody else on the field to rescue the injured player.
