Colts safety Bob Sanders visited with Dr. James Andrews on Wednesday for an evaluation of his injured biceps tendon. Dr. Andrews recommended surgery.

And then he performed it.

The Colts announced on Wednesday that Andrews has repaired the injury. The team explained that the timetable for a return is uncertain.

For now, he’ll remain on the 53-man roster. At some point, he could be placed on injured reserve.

In Thursday’s PFT Daily, we’ll discuss what the future may hold for Sanders, either in Indianapolis or somewhere else.
