The Green Bay Packers have taken a hit in the secondary.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy said at his news conference today that safety Morgan Burnett is out for the year with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
McCarthy said he thinks Burnett played in a few series after suffering the injury.
The 21-year-old Burnett, a rookie out of Georgia Tech, had started all four games this season for the Packers.
