Pats special teams take over in Miami

After a so-so first half from Sun Life Stadium, the Monday nighter has come to life in the second half -- and the Patriots have taken control not with their offense or their defense but with their special teams.

To start the third quarter, Brandon Tate took the opening kickoff the distance. Then, after forcing the Dolphins to punt, defensive back Patrick Chung blocked it, setting up a touchdown run from BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Following a conventional touchdown from the Pats offense, Chung blocked a field goal attempt. Kyle Arrington eventually scooped it up, and he returned the ball 35 yards for a touchdown.

Miami special teams coordinator John Bonamego may not have a job come Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Pats linebacker Rob Ninkovich has two interceptions and a sack tonight.

New England leads, 34-14.
