Bengals avoid blackout

On a weekend when the Bills’ 26-game sellout streak will end, the Bengals will preserve their 55-game string of locally-televised home games.

Helping move the final unsold tickets was the announcement that Game Three of the Phillies-Reds division-round series will commence at 7:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.

“It certainly helped since there was a little bit of a holdup,” ticket manager Andrew Brown told Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “Now that there’s not any conflict fans can make a day out of it.”

So come out and watch the Bengals barely beat the Bucs, and then head to the other park and see the Reds move one step closer to elimination.
