Andre Johnson expected back for Texans; Mario Williams questionable

Texans coach Gary Kubiak said earlier in the week wide receivers Andre Johnson and Jacoby Jones would be game-time decisions.

That may technically be true, but it appears clear how the story will play out. Jones is expected to miss Sunday’s game after missing his third straight day of practice with a calf injury. He’s listed as doubtful.

Both the Houston Chronicle and ESPN say Johnson (ankle) will likely suit up after returning to practice Thursday and Friday. He’s officially questionable.

A surprise late addition to the injury report was defensive end Mario Williams, who suffered a groin injury in Thursday’s practice. Williams has enjoyed a monster season with five sacks and a forced fumble already. He’s listed as questionable.
