Roy Williams: “We can win nine in a row”

I made a plea in our NFL picks post this week to stop talking about the Cowboys once and for all after this Sunday night’s game. That means we need to get our shots in while we can.

We’re going to present two sides of the Dallas Cowboys’ current 1-6 equation. In this first post, the delusional:

We can go nine in a row, if you ask me,” wideout Roy Williams told ESPNDallas.com’s Tim McMcMahon.

“People can call me stupid or whatever, but this football team has the core of players, it has the supporting cast of players to win nine in row. We just got to get it started just for other players to be like, ‘All right, we got it now.’”

“It would be a great storybook ending,” continued Williams. “It would be awesome. I don’t know if they’d put us in the Hall of Fame for that if this [team] was going to go on and win the Super Bowl, but it’s a tough feat to cross.”

We’re going to speak on behalf of the Hall of Fame, here. If the Cowboys win the Super Bowl, yes the entire team can go in. Even David Buehler.
