Top cornerback Dunta Robinson returns to the Falcons’ starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Bucs. Atlanta needs Robinson, as red-hot Tampa rookie wideout Mike Williams may have otherwise proven to difficult for Mike Smith’s team to stop.
The Falcons will not have the following players for Sunday’s game: linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, defensive tackle Trey Lewis, cornerback Dominique Franks, defensive end Lawrence Sidbury, offensive tackle Garrett Reynolds, and guard Mike Johnson.
The third quarterback, as usual, is John Parker Wilson.
For Tampa Bay, Rudy Carpenter is listed as the third quarterback.
The Bucs’ inactives are wide receiver Sammie Stroughter, tackle Jeremy Trueblood, defensive lineman Alex Magee, defensive tackle Ryan Sims, cornerback Myron Lewis, fullback Earnest Graham, and center Jeff Faine.
