Harvin fumble could be last nail in Chilly's coffin

Several readers have told us that FOX microphones picked up at halftime of the Cardinals-Vikings game a fan yelling for the Wilf family to “fire this f–king idiot at halftime.”

On the first play after halftime, the camel’s back may have been broken.

Percy Harvin had the ball ripped from his possession as he was falling to the ground while returning the kickoff.  Michael Adams recovered the ball and took it into the end zone.

The Cardinals lead, 21-10.

Owner Zygi Wilf has fired one other coach.  After the Vikings beat the Bears at home to end the 2005 season, Mike Tice learned that he would not be retained.

Unless the Vikings can turn it around today (and even if they do), Childress could be out by the time the sun sets in the Twin Cities.
