Given the realities of Thanksgiving week, we’re tweaking the PFT Daily schedule. The bad news is that there will be no call-in show this week.
We’ll give you a moment to compose yourselves.
The good news is that the whole call-in phenomenon moves to a higher profile this week, when yours truly handles Friday guest-hosting duties on The Dan Patrick Show.
We’ll give you a moment to compose yourselves.
In addition to taking some of your calls, we’ve lined up several guests, including (but not limited to) a back-and-forth regarding the NFL labor situation.
Making a rare media appearance will be Bob Batterman, the NFL’s chief outside labor counsel, hired specifically for negotiating a new CBA (or, in the view of the NFLPA, orchestrating a lockout). NFLPA spokesman George Atallah will respond later in the show.
We’ll otherwise talk a lot of pro football and a little college football. Unless for the second straight year a major sports figure chases his turkey with a nine-iron chase from his wife.
