Ochocinco goes au naturale in anti-fur ad

Chad Ochocinco Chooses Ink, Not Mink : NFL star Chad Ochocinco bares all to show he chooses “ink, not mink” in a naked anti-fur ad for PETA

In a season featuring allegations that a high-profile quarterback sent via text photos of a certain part of his anatomy to a former coworker, it’s fitting that a high-profile receiver would land in an advertising campaign featuring everything but the certain part of his anatomy that got the quarterback in hot water.

Bengals wideout Chad Ochocinco, who suddenly is showing up in more commercials than Peyton Manning, appears in a PETA ad wearing nothing but a smile (actually, it’s a blank expression) . . . and a football over his crotch.

It’s part of the “Ink Not Mink” campaign, encouraging folks to get tattoos in lieu of buying coats made of animal fur.

There’s a certain irony, of course, in the fact that an anti-fur ad would use as a prop something made from the carcass of dead cows.

That said, we hope that the oblong clot of cow carcass used in this specific ad was promptly incinerated after the photographs were taken. We’d hate to think that some kid will be getting for Christmas a “Duke” that was pressed up against Chad’s junk.
