Fantasy owners of Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles have grown accustomed to seeing Thomas Jones “vulture” touchdowns away.

On Sunday, coach Todd Haley came up with a more exciting way to steal a touchdown.

325-pound defensive tackle Shaun Smith plunged in for a score after a six-yard Charles run set the ball up at the one-yard line. We love the second effort. Has a new William “Refrigerator” Perry been born?

“Right now, they call me, ‘The Deep Freeze,’ ” Smith told the Kansas City Star after the game. “We worked on the play and they just happened to give it to me.” [PFT Planet: I think we can come up with a better nickname.]

Smith has previously been in the news this year for being accused of grabbing other players’ junk. Now he’s part of a defensive-heavy goal-line package that also includes linebacker Mike Vrabel.

“That’s a big ’ol boy back there running the ball, isn’t it?” Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop said. “That was neat. It definitely fires up our team.”
