Bengals place Antwan Odom on injured reserve

Shortly before the start of the 2010 regular season, reports emerged that Bengals defensive end Antwan Odom had tested positive for violation of the league’s steroids policy.  Appeals allowed him to play through October 10.  The suspension — and an injury — will keep him from playing again this year beyond it.

The Bengals have placed Odom on injured reserve, due to a wrist injury that he suffered on October 10.

To fill his roster spot, the Bengals have brought back defensive end Victor Adeyanju, who spent six days with the Bengals last month.

  1. why did it take us 3 weeks after he came off suspension to know he couldn’t play the rest of the year? they knew he had the wrist surgery during the suspension. Oh yeah, that’s right…b/c Mike Brown’s medical staff is almost as big of a joke as he is as the “GM”…..

  2. I wish they had Lamar Odom. His wife looks like one helluva pass rusher.
