Bengals-Steelers inactives

Perhaps the weather at Heinz Field will keep Sunday’s game close. Because on paper, the Steelers and Bengals don’t match up well.

Pittsburgh has significant advantages across the board.

We’ll know the outcome in a few hours. The Bengals have released their inactives, and at least they are mostly healthy. The most notable absence is cornerback Johnathan Joseph, who aggravated his high ankle sprain last week.

Joining Joseph on the sideline will be running back Cedric Peerman, defensive end Victor Adeyanju, linebacker Vincent Rey, center Reggie Stephens, tackle Kirk Chambers, and wide receiver Jerome Simpson. Rookie Dan LeFevour is the third quarterback.

The Steelers have deactivated tight end Heath Miller, running back Jonathan Dwyer, tackle Chris Scott, defensive end Scott McClendon, tackle Tony Hills, defensive end Aaron Smith, and cornerback Keenan Lewis.

Matt Spaeth starts for Miller. Charlie Batch is the third quarterback.
