Heavy rain in Southern California has resulted in flooding at the venue where the Chargers play their home games.
Qualcomm Stadium is under water, as demonstrated by video captured by KGTV and posted at the team’s official website.
The good news for the Chargers is that their regular-season home schedule has ended. The bad news is that they could be hosting a playoff game as early as January 8.
Several years ago, a Chargers home game was moved to Arizona due to wildfires in and around San Diego. In this case, it’s all moot unless and until the Chargers can close a one-game game with the Chiefs and take the AFC West crown.
