Rex Ryan’s “personal matter” apparently includes a third person

Getty Images

A highly-placed source with an NFL team not named the New York Jets recently expressed amazement to PFT regarding the manner in which the Rex Ryan foot-fetish controversy fizzled and died.  Though Ryan, the Jets, and the league uttered the words “personal matter” enough times to classify the phrase as a Christmas carol lyric, uploading the videos to a public website makes the situation no more of a personal matter than, say, Rex giving a member of the general public the middle finger on his personal time.

The more likely reality is that neither the league nor the Jets wanted the thing to take on a life of its own, and so the league and the Jets looked the other way.

That said, the situation could still take on a life of its own.

If you don’t believe us, go to MediaTakeOut.com and start clicking links to see what the website claims are photos of Mrs. Ryan, her feet, and someone other than Mr. Ryan touching them.

We’re not sure how long those photos have been available, but we suspect that the folks at the New York Post and other Big Apple tabloids will soon be noticing them.

Then again, the Alt.com profile published by Deadspin last week largely has been ignored.  Maybe these new photos will be overlooked, too.

But we doubt it.

Either way, league spokesman Greg Aiello was right.  The NFL really is the ultimate reality show.

  1. Get off Ryan’s case. This matter is between Rex, his wife, and all those homeless guys surfing porn on the computers down at the public library.

  2. this stuff is getting sick and I’m starting to feel queasy. Can we talk about someone’s hot wife quick?

  3. I think the fact that Rex is a foot-fetish swinger is pretty funny and newsworthy because of his social status…..but most people on this website seem to think that Rex merely adores his wife and her feet, and “what’s the harm with that?”……that’s missing the point. HE SHARES HIS WIFE WITH OTHER DUDES….so he’s complete scum and a loser in my opinion.

    Go Bills!

  4. So the guy has a foot fetish. It wasn’t smart of him to post the videos to youtube, but he’s not doing anything wrong in them…..just creepy….Leave him alone.

  5. Ok Mike, we get it. The Ryans are stupid, careless people. This however does not reflect his ability to coach a football team. You didn’t have scoop The New York Post.

Just let it go unless these stories have any bearing on his work with the Jets.

  6. Just because something involves someone in ‘pro Football’ does not mean it is Pro Football Talk.
could you please make a seperate site called ‘Pro Football Gossip’ so those who are interested can go there. As a bonus, you could totally make stuff up, call people liars, and play ‘I think i’m a lawyer’ there as well.
This site can then dedicate itself to those events more relevant to the win/loss record, playbooks, roster changes, drafting, mgmt and injuries for example.

  7. I couldn’t care less what Rex Ryan does with his wife’s feet. I mean give me a break… still a non-story.

Reminds me of the Pulp Fiction scene on foot massages: “you think Marcellus throw Tony Rocky Horror off a building for touching my feet?”

  8. I didn’t even read the article, I only clicked on it so I can say… REALLY!?! YOU GUYS ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT THIS!? HE HAS A FOOT FETISH, GET OVER IT! IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FOOTBALL OTHER THAN HIM BEING A HEAD COACH!!! IF IT HAS ANY BEARING ON ANY FOOTBALL GAME IT IS ONLY BECAUSE THE MEDIA WON’T DROP IT!

  9. Gee, who ever thought that a coach in the NFL could also have a personal life.

As long as it is legal, who cares who does what with another. If it makes Mr and Mrs Ryan happy, be done with it already!

  10. Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti are in the Jets back pocket and they’ll make sure to sweep this under the rug.

  11. Let it go already. It’s the mans personal life. Don’t be the POS that we all believe you are.

Maybe someone out here in the land of the Internet should start poking around in your background to dig up some ‘dirt’ and see how that works out. Think your kid would enjoy reading about you and your wifes private ‘issues’?

  12. This obviously is big news. People trying to claim it isnt are being ridiculous. Favre makes headlines daily for 2 months for allegedly sending a picture of his dick to a chick that clearly wanted it, and everyone talks bad about favre and about suspension.

Rex Ryan is posting videos of his wife and another man licking her toes and we are just supposed to ignore it because it is a personal issue? Wouldnt Favre cheating on his wife be a “personal issue” too?

  13. I think there is nothing wrong with adoring your wife, but this merely points out that Rex Ryan is a total fake. He talks alot of trash, but can’t back it up on the field. When he looks like an idot after losing, he just does something stupid. Im waiting for him to come clean about this, then bury a football to forget about it. I give him 2 more years before he is out of the NFL.

  14. Maybe the initial story fizzled and died because it has nothing to do with football and because the public realized it does not want to be in the business of judging whether someone’s sex life goes over the line into the realm of “deviant”. Maybe we learned our lesson from overdosing on voyeurism during the Tiger Woods thing. Probably not – more likely most media outlets, in conjunction with the Jets and NFL, made that decision for the public. And I thank them for it.

The repetitive mentioning of the fact that it was posted in an obscure corner of the internet does not make it any less personal. Just because you are a public figure doesn’t mean everyone gets to weigh in on the merits of your particular fetish. As long as they didn’t do anything illegal and everyone consented, we should just let it go.

As a Patriot fan, I’d love to see the JETS embarrassed – especially Fat Rex. But not like this. This is so incredibly wrong. I’m sorry your puritanical sensibilities are offended because Rex likes his wife’s feet, and possibly likes the fact that someone else likes his wife’s feet, too. But it really is not any of your business, or mine.

    Let it go. Please.

You obviously did not see the new pictures, its clearly Darrelle Revis.

  16. Yeah, it’s no big deal. The guy just likes his wife’s feet…
and he likes to make videos with his wife…
and he likes to share them on a PUBLIC website…
and he belongs to a swinger’s group in which he says he is “Bi-Curious”….
and he takes naked photos of his wife…
and he uploads those pics on a swingers site asking for others to meet…
and he solicits other dudes to lick his wife’s feet…
and he gets off taking pics of dudes licking her feet…

Yeah, no big deal. Normal behavior of every NFL coach.

This guy is an embarrassment. I don’t care what they do, but if they’re posting stuff online, ANYWHERE, they’re acting reckless and stupid. The guy is a moron.

  17. You can tell who are sick MFers are into the same stuff Rex is, they are the ones telling us to “move on” and that this “isn’t a story”.
I’m impressed they took a break from all that toe sucking to comment on this article.

  18. Either way, league spokesman Greg Aiello was right. The NFL really is the ultimate reality show.

  21. oh please stop. Rex is not my favorite person in the world but this getting silly. He is with his wife. I don’t care if there is 5 more people there just stop who cares

  22. It’s his WIFE, Mike. They are consenting adults. Nothing illegal going on here, nothing that affects the Jets organization— unless the media continues to drone on about it. The Ryans did not add their names to the videos or the alt site to call attention to themselves.

C’mon man! Seriously, let it go already!

How does this make him a fake?

He talks alot of trash about football, but to the best of my knowledge, he’s never gone after anyone else’s personal life.

Why should he “come clean” about this?

You’re the one who roots for the team with TO on it, who once accused another NFL player of being gay.

    Pot, meet kettle.

  24. They’ve been talking about this on the radio here in Dallas since the morning, I’ve been at work so wont dare click on the link.
From what I understand, she is gettin some “brotha” off with her feet and supposedly Rex is filming it?
    Weirdo, haha, oh well.
Pretty creepy but I wouldn’t think its worth losing a job over, unless he starts to lose more and more games.

  25. You guys just linked to a site that has obvious spyware/ adware content. Thanks from all of us.

  26. It’s fun to see all the jets fans doing their collective best to pretend this is a non story. Get it straight, this is not a “personal matter, it’s Rex trolling for men on line!!!Jet fans are the biggest loudmouths in the league…when it isn’t their team being bashed. You get no sympathy from me.

  27. vikadontis98rex, just for the record….we didn’t give a rat’s azz about Favre texting pics, either. The league tried to twist it into sexual harrassment against a fellow employee. The only shame in that whole mess is that Favre is married, and his unknowing, most-likely nonapproving, wife was not the recipient.

  28. Kind of a wierd way to recruit players???
Come on over and do my wifes feet!!!

Is that the guy sueing the Patriots for “Spygate?”

  29. Did anybody consider the fact that this video and information about a 3rd party is not accidently released?

    Maybe Rexy was advertising?

  30. Why is Brett Favre’s personal business that he allegedly (key word here) indulged in PRIVATELY okay to examine & discuss for months on end and we are free to call him a pervert and a violator. But we have to give Rex a break and drop the subject when he PUBLICLY posts vids of his wife’s similar private parts, admits PUBLICLY that he’s bi-curious, is on a PUBLIC swingers site declaring multiple, um, preferences & PUBLICLY offering up his wife to other people for kinky stuff? Really people? Why the hypocrisy?

Brett vs Rex – both are equally high profile, both are equally loved/reviled depending on who you root for, both deserve the same level of scrutiny by the NFL if their actions are detrimental to the sacred league right?

Personally I don’t like either of them, and if it isn’t illegal feel free to get your freak on however you want. My problem is with the battle cry of “Leave poor Rex alone!” by the same people that have participated wholeheartedly in ridiculing Favre & called for his suspension from the NFL for months…Geez…

  31. This is great – all the perverts are coming out of the woodwork screaming LEAVE REX ALONE!

When I get support, I hope it’s not from the kinky wanker brigade.

  32. Yeah, it’s a personal matter, sure. A personal matter involving a public figure who looks for the spotlight, in a league that punishes players for conduct detrimental to the league that fall short of crimes, who posted pics on a public website, who advertised basically to swing, and posted pics of some dude licking his wife’s feet on that public site. Sounds personal to me.

  33. @snarkygurl:

    Really?

You can’t understand the difference between a husband and wife consensually posting videos and information about themselves on the web by their own volition (look it up) and….

A married man getting the personal phone number of a woman who is not his wife from a third party and then sending unwanted texts and photos of his winkie to her?

You really can’t comprehend how those two situations would be different?

    Really?

  34. This site is in the business of generating clicks.

The problem with sports media in the modern era is the attention spent to the personal side of player’s and coach’s lives.

  35. Rex and Mrs. Ryan obviously meant these videos to remain private between themselves and Youtube users and anyone who has access to Alt.com – and I think we should respect that.

  36. All that is well and good.

But I am the only one that finds Mrs. Ryan kinda hot ? I must be getting old.

  37. When I hear the word “footballs”, I used to visualize a net-like duffelbag full of footballs.

Now I visualuze something else entirely.

    Thanks, Rex…

  38. I’m a Patriots fan and I love this, anything to embarrass Rex & The Jets is fine by me, keep shoveling it on.

I can only imagine if it were Bill Belichick instead of Rex in this situation, I doubt most of you people who say “Move on” and “Non-Story” would feel the same way and the volume would be turned up 10-fold.

  39. WHO CARES!! like he says its personal.i do not care what he does outside of football as long as he isnt killing anyone or molesting kids. This is being way to hyped u p for no reason at all. There are fetish’s out there for everyone…Nor do i care about brett texting or sending pics…hell i would send them to her to she is pretty f/n HOT!

  40. Who cares —– Their a married couple and can do what ever they want with who ever they want as long as all party’s are adults and choosing to be involved — Who cares —- I think it’s great when people explore the sexuality and more people should do just that and only idiot morons have a problem with it — Who cares —- I mean besides the idiot morons

  41. When Twinkle Toes Ryan first joined the league he thought NFL stood for Nice Feet Lady or Nude Foot Licker or …..oh never mind.

  42. I am completely shocked that posters here are completely unaware that they have a free shot to get a look at free porn of Rex Ryan’s wife! Follow the links, she has a beaver-shot for God’s sakes!

Goodell talks about taking a stand in leveling huge fines and suspensions, but Rex Ryan and his wife are openly on porn sites actively seeking threesomes, fisting, S&M, and posting crotch pics and photos of her getting guys off using her feet, and Goodell does NOTHING?

    Woody Johnson does NOTHING????

So THIS is the image the NFL apparently wants; Brett Favre e-mailing pics of his junk and the Ryans getting jiggy with swappers online.

  43. If this were Belichick, you can bet that this would be breaking news on ESPN, CNN, PMSNBC, and Faux News. It would be the cover story on Newsweek, Time, The Post, NY Times, etc etc.

Outside of Pat fans, no one would be saying this is a personal matter or leave Belichick alone.

  44. Who cares who was touching who’s feet.

Come on PFT, you’re better than this aren’t you … Oh my bad. Nevermind.

  45. The Patriots’ camera finally tapes something seemingly interesting in the NFL & can’t even get a fine or suspension out of it. Is there no shame?

  46. I’m not a Ryan fan. In fact, I’m actually a Patriots fan…..but…….those are obviously phony photos.

Some are actually of Mrs Ryan but she is alone, with nobody else in the photos. The photos with “the brotha” are photos of a woman wearing similar jeans and purple sweater, but you cannot see her face. The one photo that shows her(?) face has obviously been photoshopped in.

Check out Mrs Ryan’s red fingernails, then check out the fingernails of the woman with “the brotha.” They are clearly not the same. It’s an obvious attempt to distort the facts.

That said……….Rex is still a perv, and the Jets still suck.

  47. Rex’s personal life is his own (wish he’d kept it that way). What concerns me is the league’s continued wild inconsistency. If the media is all over it, so is Goodell. If not, the commissioner is all cover-up.

No complaint had been filed against Favre, so Goodell had no reason to “investigate” anything. But the Sterger story was big news, so Goodell had to pretend he was doing something. So far, Michelle’s feet haven’t captured public attention like Brett’s weewee so it’s “personal” even though they posted it on YouTube. Based on a preponderance of evidence, authorities in both Nevada and Georgia said they have no reason to believe assaults took place in either jurisdiction. But the media was in a frenzy over Roethlisberger, so Goodell had to “punish” him with a four-week suspension. Yet when Vince Young assaulted someone in a strip club, he got off scot-free because he wasn’t high profile enough for the media to care.

The issue isn’t Rex’s sex life, but why Goodell only butts in when he thinks the world at large is paying attention. Just wait … if the story gains national notoriety and seems to put the NFL in a negative light with the general public, Goodell will suddenly start taking Rex’s foot fetish a lot more seriously.

  48. Rexy has always had a foot fetish. He used to suck his own toes constantly when he was young and physically able to put foot in mouth. Nowadays, he only does it rhetorically(sic),

  49. I see that NFL and Jets employees are out in force trying to squash this story with the “personal matter” talking point.

No it is not a personal matter. The Ryans are obviously freaks, and these are just the first shoes to drop. You can bet that at least a few of their swinger friends will decide to cash in on this, so the story is just not going away. Any time a high profile individual goes trolling for strangers to have sex with their spouse … it’s going to be a headline story.

  50. “The more likely reality is that neither the league nor the Jets wanted the thing to take on a life of its own, and so the league and the Jets looked the other way.”

No, the likely reality is that nobody actually gives a damn. Except you, obviously.

  51. Mike was very charitable to the Ryan’s in this post. The people who don’t think this is a big deal didn’t go to the Mediatakeout.com link and go to the third web page. My jaw dropped. It has a picture of Rex Ryan’s wife spread eagle spreading open her birth canal for the camera.

I laughed off the foot fetish video with Rex and his wife, but add pictures with another man and now these porn type pictures and I’m not laughing. It makes me feel sorry for the woman as she obviously has issues. I guess Rex has some issues as well, it’s not our fault however that he and his wife put this in the public domain.

I don’t see how the Ryan’s are going to escape this rising to the level of a scandal that impacts his employment. The media will have to have a blind eye for them to escape, hard to imagine.

  52. It is not that interesting with everyone being consenting.
Maybe if it wasn’t his wife or they released an x-rated tape it might be somewhat interesting, but nope.

  53. Please! The photo with the 3rd person is not of Rex’s wife. The cars are not the same, and the nail polish is different. Additionally for those who will say it was probably done at a different time, because the fetish is always done in a parked car, the age of the hands in the latest photo are much older looking hands.

It is not of Rex’s wife, without any doubt.

  54. “The people who don’t think this is a big deal didn’t go to the Mediatakeout.com link and go to the third web page.”

No, I did, I just don’t give a crap about anything that comes from a site like “mediatakeout.com”.

  55. OK, so there’s a third person involved. Now this requires a second look at that alternative lifestyle page that Sexy Rexy and his wife set up…the one where Rexy identified his own sexual preference as hetero “but bi-curious”. Oh, this isn’t going away.

But I admit, I do like all this shnagans.. (not like in Shanahan)

BUT I’m going to miss the weekly football, season flew by too fast. I’m all for longer football … ugg uugg… more power (Tim the Tool Man) maybe it was his hands…

  59. i wonder if he pats the guys on their butts when they are “doing her in all three holes” jeese thats his damn wife!

  60. Ok, how long before a sex video comes out? This is too freakky and reckless for there not to be a sex video at some point with Rex’s wife and a third party.

  61. The real problem with the coverage of this story is that it overshadows the coverage of the Bears’ win over the Jets.

    Get your priorities straight, media.

I too renounce the kinky wanker brigade and all their works.

  64. @realitypolice – First of all I am a Bengals fan, and fully support any player with behavioral issues should be released, no questions asked. This includes our Diva players. Second, Rex Ryan is a fake. What real coach would set up an assistant to take a fall as such was the case with “wall-gate”. I can only think of Josh McDaniels as the other one in that category. Thirdly he is fake for talking big and not delivering (aka Patriots MNF game). Instead of admitting he was out coached, he went through this big drama about buring a stupid football and how that was going to magically erase his shortcomings as a coach. With that said, I do have morals, and truly feel for his family. What such a selfish thing to put them through.

  65. Lifelong Patriots fan here.

    This is so very lame.

I really don’t care what Rex and his wife enjoy.

I wish he’d shut his mouth with regards to the Pats, and how good he mistakenly believes the Jets are.

But I really don’t care about this crap.

Leave the guy alone about this nonsense, and stop reporting this crap on what was once a great site.

This has nothing to do with football.

  66. @Deb;

Always like your posts. Don’t always agree, but at least you actually put thought into what you write.

I just don’t understand what there is to investigate here. Ryan and his wife posted pornographic images on the internet. Period. There isn’t even a hint of possible illegal conduct. It may offend some based upon an individual’s moral code, but I’m not sure what you would have the commissioner do: suspend Ryan because he is just so gosh darn icky?

Whether or not there was a complaint filed in the Favre case, and regardless of what you thought of the merits of the case, there was evidence in the public domain that Brett Favre had possibly participated in activities that constituted sexual harassment in the workplace. Goodell had no choice but to investigate.

As far as Big Ben’s case, I honestly fail to understand why Steeler fans can’t let this go. While I don’t believe he sexually assaulted either woman, I do believe he was exhibiting a worrisome pattern of disrespectful and thoughtless behavior towards people he encountered in public places that was causing concern amongst people close to him as well as the league. The four week suspension was more of a “lifetime achievement award”, if you will. It didn’t hurt the Steelers, and seems to have gotten the message across.

The difference between both of these cases and the Ryan case is that in those cases there was a potential victim (relax, I said “potential”) and both were cases of a player allegedly acting inappropriately against another person. In the Ryan case, I really don’t see a potentially aggrieved party.

Unless you count the people who actually saw the pictures, who may be in therapy for years.

Again, you’re missing the point. When the league busted Roethlisberger, it made it clear that the personal conduct and morality of its players would be under scrutiny. LEGAL wasn’t an issue, MORAL was, as Ben was never even charged with any crime. The commissioner specifically referred to immoral behavior which could “embarrass” the league.

You’re going to tell me fetish videos don’t satisfy both counts? No, the league is so red-faced, it’s done its best to cover the matter (just like it did with Favre).

There are at least as many jokes out there about Rex’s foot follies as there are about Favre and Roethlisberger… yet only one of the three has paid any price. THAT’S what’s at issue here. The old double standard.

  69. @realitypolice …

Thank you. Always appreciate your posts, too … even though I just snapped at you on another thread 🙂

You’re right about Ryan, but that won’t stop Goodell if public pressure mounts. That’s what bugs me about him. He’s all about doing what’s politically expedient. He doesn’t have principles so much as positions … like a politician. I don’t trust him to do the right thing for the right reasons.

With Favre, in the absence of a formal complaint, Deadspin posting sexts he supposedly sent two years ago didn’t constitute anything but gossip. The league could have said “No complaint has been filed against Favre” and left it there. If Sterger wanted to press it, she could have. But if not, that would have ended it.

On Roethlisberger, I’m torn between principle and practicality. In principle, the league had no precedent to suspend him and doing so implied league investigators believed he was guilty even if prosecutors wouldn’t pursue it–which was so far from the truth. I would have gotten past it if Goodell had applied the same PCP yardstick to Vince Young and Brandon Underwood, but he didn’t … proof that it’s about PR for him, not personal conduct.

However, from a practical perspective I’m grateful for the suspension. My team needs its QB and he was on a self-destruct path. Only a serious smack in the head was going to get his attention. He earned the smack with his jackass behavior, and it’s probably done him–and the team–a lot of good.

  70. By the way, as much as I hate Rex Ryan and the Jets, the Alt.com profile means that he is Straight, and SHE is bi-curious. DUH!

  71. Rex is the perfect coach for that team in that city. He obviously is just what the fans expect as normal there! He’ll probably get tons of marketing offers now there! On a side note feet make me queasy, and the sight of the white flaky callouses on her feet almost made me puke just glancing at them…….

  72. It is almost as if people associated with the NFL are normal people in with magnifying glasses on them. Like some people do this, others do that. Just a strange thought that occured to me.

  73. Even if that’s not Mrs. Ryan, you know what they say… Where there’s feet there’s fire.

  74. Feet are gross. Wtf is wrong with people? That said, it’s not like she did a brushbate on Cam4. Get over it.

“Didn’t hurt the Steelers”? Uh, news flash: if Ben plays game #1 vs. the Ravens, they win that one, and would now be sitting players this Sunday with the #2 seed locked up.

Again, the league itself is the one talking morality, not legality. And if Favre did nothing, why did they league brag how it was going to “fast track” that investigation? That says right there something serious was going on, or at least they wanted you to think that. They then turned around and stalled things so Favre would get off almost scot free in the end.

Ryan put videos on the ‘net of a perverted nature, which, if the NFL is serious about morality, or “embarrassing” the NFL, they’d have busted him for. Again, they swept it under the rug. Is this not totally obvious?

Three cases all involving morality, but only one player pays the price. In this case, it affects what happens on the field. And you wonder why Steeler fans are less than amused.

  76. I’m a Browns fan. But, I’d like to come to Rex’s defense.
This should be a personal issue. People have different sexual ceilings. If it doesn’t harm anybody else….then leave the Ryan family alone.
    America is full of hypocrits!
Many have sexual desires but never fulfill them and go on frustrated. People in America are prudes and hypocrits in public. Behind closed doors should mean they can do what they want.
The web is a way of expanding the fantasy. Every guy wishes he could have the model on TV or in Playboy. Now with video access, the wife can be that girl. Don’t be mean to her for wanting to please her husband.
I give a guy a lot of credit for wanting his own girl or wife being his fantasy girl…..instead of going out and looking for it.
I hate the Jets but…..I have to say….I agree with Rex…..This should be personal and left alone.
It’s not public domain and less you search it out. Nobody is getting hurt by it. And all adults have fantasies whether they admit it or not.
Leave the story and criticism alone.
    Don’t be a hypocrit!

  77. I always wondered why the Ravens didn’t hire Rex??? Guess they have a better PI than the Jets?

Deb, great post! Right on the money.

He pretty much takes the same approach to fines for personal fouls. Image is all that matters to him.

    First, learn to spell.

Second, did you check the gash shot of Mrs. Ryan? Pure class posting that on the Internet but like you said, if that – along with fisting and watch her get trained by the O line – is her and Lard Ass’s fantasy then more power to them…

    See, I am no hypocrite!

    ha ha ha

    And here we go again!

“Behind closed doors”? Really? So I guess all this public scrutiny had nothing to do with the fact that he chose to make them public on the Internet.

If they’d kept this private, we’d never be talking about it. But they chose to show the world, or anyone who cared to look! And as a high-profile NFL coach, you have to be aware of what you’re doing.

But that’s not the main point — if the NFL chose, it could easily bust him for the whole morality thing they’ve nailed other guys for. But they chose to be selective. No matter how much the whole thing did what the league supposedly is cracking down on — “embarrassing” the league.

“Agony of De-Feet” read the NY Post headline. Nah, not too embarrassing for the league huh? But still, nothing done, only some players get suspended, others walk. Just like some QBs can get smacked in the face, and no flag, while others get rewarded with penalties if you breathe on them. It’s all connected, boys, into a big sleazy web of hypocrisy and double standards! Long live the Goodell era in pro football!

  82. I don’t think the NFL has any business deciding what’s “moral” in the first place. I just want to watch football. I think they’d better spend their time focusing on player safety than foot fetishes.

Funny, this place was drooling all over itself calling for Roethlisberger’s head — did you feel the same back then? Now suddenly it’s all about how the league should stay out of people’s private lives.

And remember, Ben was never charged with any crime, it was all about morality. Goodell got all high and mighty about the league’s precious image, and Ben’s supposedly bad behavior. Now he looks the other way when it comes to this.

Sorry, it’s too late — the NFL has already declared they’re going to decide what’s “moral.” Thing is, they’re now being selective in handing out punishment. Ben getting four games, but Favre and Ryan skating by scot-free is a bunch of garbage.

And I got news for you — this isn’t just about foot fetishes now, there’s some downright porno coming out. If that doesn’t violate the sacred NFL conduct policy, I don’t know what does. Look for the league soon to “fast track” another investigation soon, just like it did with Favre.

  84. Let us all just close our eyes and imagine if things were flipped and it Ryan’s wife taking photos of Rex’s feet for YouTube.

Now we can all be thankful that this is not the case and just move on.

P.S. Why the hell couldn’t we have the same story but with Tom Brady and Giselle? That would be soooo much more interesting.

  85. Yeah

Does anybody with any decency really want to know about this stuff ?

Leave it where it belongs…….out of the sports news.

Next thing you’ll be showing is photos of his dirty underwear.

  86. When the foot story first broke I replied I bet they were swingers. That reply was deleted. Looks like I was right.

  87. “Funny, this place was drooling all over itself calling for Roethlisberger’s head — did you feel the same back then?”

Absolutely. If Ben was charged with a crime, then the league should feel free to punish him. Since he wasn’t, I don’t agree that they had any business doing so.

I DO think that the team can punish players for what they deem to be inappropriate conduct.

But I have a question for you: who decides that a foot fetish is morally wrong? I and many other people see nothing wrong with a person taking pictures of their feet. Why is one person’s opinion more valuable than another?

As far as the “porno” statement goes, I really don’t care. At all. There is porn ALL OVER the internet. It’s easy to find, and it’s free. If you don’t like it, then don’t go looking for it. It’s that easy.

  88. i could not care less what anybody does in his bedroom life,or personal life, but rex ryan is proving to be just as stupid in drawing bad publicity to the jets team as his father, buddy ryan managed to do when he was an nfl coach.outside of winning a superbowl as a DC,and making the 46 defense well known, what else did he manage to do except not back up what he said
and get fired as a head coach 2 times?i think rex will have the same fate his daddy did, which is a lot of talk, but nothing to show for it!

  89. yeah i dont get all the people saying its ‘personal’ — if it was PERSONAL, it wouldn’t be out in the public — it’s not like someone broke into their house and stole their personal videos and now they are embarassed — THEY put themselves out there, meaning ‘fair game’ — 2ndly, it’s called ‘Conduct Detrimental to the NFL/club’ — it’s called ‘personal conduct’ — NFL is a business and Rex Ryan is a face of the league by being head coach — him and his wife’s PUBLIC display of their affections as it were, is damaging to the business… duh??
