Brian Brohm in line for second career start

If you thought John Skelton vs. Stephen McGee on Christmas night was a thrill, wait until Jets fans get to see Mark Brunell vs. Brian Brohm at the New Meadowlands Stadium on Sunday.

Mark Sanchez is expected to start for the Jets, but likely won’t play for long before giving way to Brunell.  The Bills look ready to give Brohm his second career start because Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t practiced all week.

Fitzpatrick (knee) is officially questionable and a game-time decision, but it’s very rare for a quarterback to play on Sunday without practicing all week.

The Bills are down to three healthy wide receivers with Lee Evans long gone and Donald Jones and David Nelson both ruled out.

  1. I would rather watch the Sacramento Kings battle the Cleveland Cavaliers than this game. 18 game schedule would only make it worse.

  2. So when the schedule is increased to 18 games, we’ll see 2nd and 3rd stringers in games 17 and 18. Thanks Roger Goodell…what’s next reformulating Coca Cola?

you just insulted every turd I’ve ever flushed down the toilet

  4. The Bills have played tough against some good teams this year, losing a number of close games and I think things are looking up. They have not given up which is alot more than one can say about many other teams and also have more class verus alot of other teams.
    NE 38 Bills 30
    KC 13 Bills 10
    Balt 34 Bills 30
    Pitt 19 Bills 16

    –Lol, couldn’t be more right.

  6. This is very exciting to me. Fitzpartick did really well this season when he wasn’t nervous and didn’t panic. I give him a lot of credit, but I also give Chan Gaily a lot of credit for coaching the offense. Brohm, I hope, is a good student and payed attention. The Bills will not get Andrew Luck and we have to see if the Chan Brohm Combo is a good match. Too bad it comes with 1 game left in the season. Chan will find out a lot about Brohm against the Jets defense, second third string or not. Chan is an evaluator of talent. It didn’t take him long to see Trent is a head case on Sundays, unlike Defensive Dumb Dicky Jauron.
