Two days after their improbable win over the Saints, good news continued to pour in for the Seahawks.

Coach Pete Carroll confirmed that linebacker Lofa Tatupu and wideout Ben Obomanu were both expected to practice this week after suffering injuries against New Orleans.  Tatupu suffered a concussion, so he’ll have to pass he league-mandated tests to get back on the field.

“Lofa got hit in the head, but he responded very well today,” Carroll said Monday via the Tacoma News Tribune. “I was very encouraged by his turnaround from yesterday today.”

Carroll said he expects Tatupu to be back at practice by the end of the week.  Obomanu dislocated his shoulder against the Saints, but was able to return to the game and should be ready to go.

A second quality receiving option would be huge for Seattle this week.  The Bears gave up 123 yards to Mike Williams last time out and figure to give him a lot of defensive attention.
