  1. he hasnt practiced much all season. still invaluable for this game. smith might even play this week.

  2. Steelers fans better hope he plays but is also able to perform well so hat he can bail out the rapist yet again and make him look like what he isn’t- a quality QB.

  3. um …not being rude – but this was already basically announced by the Steelers that Troy would be very limited if not practicing in the first part of the week !!??

HE is going to play and we all hope (and believe) he will be a factor – something will be done with his play which will give the Steelers an edge or the ball!!

    GO Steelers

  4. Precautionary and nothing more. Players at Troys level don’t need to practice every week, and when there is a chance of injury, they aren’t going to. Period.

  5. if Tomlin would have said this earlier in the week then we wouldn’t think anything was up…oh yeah, he did.
So is this a “Tomlin hasn’t lied about Troy” update?

  6. All he needs is the meetings he’s been there so long. Knows the system inside out and won’t have any trouble understanding the gameplan or his role without the on field practice.

  7. Polamalu will play. One radio station says Smith’s best chance at playing won’t come unless the Steelers make the Super Bowl.

  8. Let me help you out… He wont practice tomorrow either…

In other words he is on his normal pace for the week…. which is playing, and playing real well on the weekend….

  9. Ed or Troy could sit out all of practice each week and it wouldn’t make a difference on game day. No way Troy would miss this game.

  10. I imagine that Troy will see some light practice on Friday. The Steelers don’t want to push their luck.

    GO STEELERS!

  11. If anyone actually pays attention to the Steelers they would know that Troy usually doesnt practice early in the week. It been this way for the past 8 weeks or so. He will practice on Friday and win the game for us on Saturday.
