Dungy knew Tomlin was headed for big things

When he was coaching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tony Dungy took a chance on a 26-year-old assistant coach who’d never previously had an NFL job.

As usual, Dungy knew what he was doing.

A decade later, Mike Tomlin is preparing for a crack at his second Super Bowl win in four seasons as a head coach. Dungy spoke about his history with Tomlin and where the Steelers coach would rank after a win in Super Bowl XLV during Tuesday’s PFT Live.
