PFT Live: Palmer checking out in Cincy

In today’s first PFT Live segment, Florio says Carson Palmer’s obvious desire to leave the team will make it difficult for the Bengals to organize themselves if there ultimately is a lockout. Florio also looks at Peyton Manning’s deal negotiations and LaDainian Tomlinson’s future in New York.

  1. Carson isn’t as good as he (or some of his fans) thinks he is, but he’s not as terrible as Ryan Leaf, for example. Or Jamarcus Russell. And even those pathetic draft busts would deserve better than Mikey the Moron and the rest of the Bengal front office.

Let him go to a real team with a front office that actually gives a crap about winning playoff games and trying to compete for a super bowl, not merely a division title or a non-losing season.
