Hue Jackson on Ochocinco: “He’s my son”

Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco wants to change his name back to Johnson. Perhaps he should consider Jackson -- as in “Hue!”

“He’s my son,” said Hue Jackson to Bengals.com when asked about his former pupil. “I like him as a young man and really admire what he’s done in Cincinnati and I want to stay in touch with him because I have great respect for him.”

Translation: Let the Ochinco/Johnson to Oakland speculation begin.

Even if Ochocinco says he wants to return to Cincinnati, those close to the Bengals don’t believe there’s any chance of that happening. Marvin Lewis’ endless shots at Ochocinco certainly support that theory.

When the veteran receiver is a free agent for the first time in his career, it sounds like he’ll inspire some interest from Oakland.
