Packers slot receiver Donald Driver was a late addition to the Super Bowl XLV injury report Thursday, popping up as a “limited” participant in practice. He was also limited on Friday.
“He’s fine,” coach Mike McCarthy assured late in the week.
Driver participated in Saturday’s walkthrough practice, according to the Associated Press’ Twitter feed. It’s an indication that the 36-year-old, indeed, will be able to play on Sunday.
Driver has 12 catches for 141 yards in the playoffs. He’s caught four passes of 20-plus yards in three postseason games after recording six completions of that length or greater all regular season.
