Tony Gonzalez says he’d retire after winning a Super Bowl

John Elway did it. Jerome Bettis did it. Brett Favre wanted to do it.

Tony Gonzalez hopes to do it, too.

In a Friday sit-down with ProFootballTalk Live, the Falcons tight end and future Hall of Famer didn’t hesitate when the question came up of whether he’d retire after a Super Bowl win.

Put simply, Tony will be adding an “e” after the first three letters of his last name.

“I think I’m gone,” he said. “I am gone. In the sunset, [drinking] Pina Coladas and having a good time.”
