While winding through the endless and sorta awesome indoor maze that connects seemingly all of Indianapolis Thursday, I considered searching for the NFL and coaches meeting being held at a nearby hotel.
Alas, I didn’t get there in time. It sounds like I didn’t miss anything.
As expected, the coaches and general managers were briefed on operational issues in the event of a lockout. There was “nothing new to report” regarding CBA progress, according the Bob Glauber of Newsday.
Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio confirmed to a group of reporters that no update was given. (Bill Belichick, meanwhile, escaped to the mall to avoid reporters.)
A lot of attention was given to this meeting earlier in the week, but it was seemingly much ado about nothing.
