Mark Ingram already receives a Radio City invitation

The Scouting Combine barely has started, but at least one of the participants already has been invited to attend the event for which all of the players are preparing.

A source with knowledge of the situation tells us that 2009 Heisman winner Mark Ingram has received his golden ticket to Radio City Music Hall, site of the 2011 draft.  Ingram, we’re told, has not yet accepted the invitation.

Regarded as the top tailback in the class, it’s unclear how high he’ll go.  He’s virtually certain to hear his name called before the end of the first night of the draft, which includes only the first round.

You’ll hear Ingram’s name called very early, and often, in his Thursday interview with PFT Live.

  1. Got my XXXL Aqua, Ingram #22 jersey already ordered. Love the 2d Generation Dolphins: Griese, Crowder, and now Ingram. Crowder’s dad did some jail time too. Circle of life.

  2. I can think of very few teams that wouldn’t jump to have this guy, of course many have other more pressing needs for their first round picks. Still, RB’s are about my favorite part of the draft, because even tho you can get a pretty good one in the 2nd or 3rd round usually, those top of the draft guys can have a huge impact early for teams that are often struggling.
