Randy Moss has nothing bad to say about any of the three teams he played for in 2010. But he clearly has a favorite.

“If you ask me where my heart and where I’m happy is . . . I love Tom Brady and I love playing for coach Belichick,” Moss said in an appearance on KFAN in Minnesota Wednesday.

“I’m a big fan of Bill Belichick . . . Not just on the field but off the field,” Moss said. The little grouchy man you see on camera is not the man you see off camera.”

Moss joined the program because his former teammate Erin Henderson was the host. (Henderson has a future career in radio if he wants it.) Moss was very open and expansive in the interview, and made it clear he plans to continue playing. He said he’d love to return to the Vikings if things looked right.

He said it “was definitely heartbreaking” to leave the Vikings but that “some things got in the way.” With that said, Moss said he and coach Brad Childress didn’t have any problems.

Moss found it difficult to rebound with the Titans and tried to make it work despite going “into depression a little bit.” He said he was looking forward to getting into high school coaching in the next five years.

For now, Moss was focused on his afternoon ahead, unlikely to be heard from again until the lockout is over.

“I’m going to take my behind to the casino.”
