MDS mentioned Tuesday that Packers defensive tackle Johnny Jolly would have to remain in jail until his court appearance on Wednesday, at the very earliest.
It turns out he will be remaining in jail for a while.
Jolly was denied bond again Wednesday following his latest drug charge. That means he’ll stay in jail until at least April 20, the date of his next appearance.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy was previously open to welcoming Jolly back into the fold in 2011, but his career in Green Bay should be over now. Jolly was suspended for all of the 2010 season for previous infractions involving codeine.
