We’ve been doing our best to stay on top of all reported pre-draft visits and workouts on the 2011 prospects tracker (well over 500 meetings tracked), and Chris Russell of ESPN 980 has been of an utmost help when it comes to the Redskins.

Russell has confirmed the following:

Virginia Tech running back Ryan Williams will arrive at Redskins Park on April 14 for an official visit. His meeting will last through Friday the 15th.

Williams is a possibility for Washington in the second round.

Auburn quarterback Cam Newton will follow Williams on the Redskins’ schedule. Newton has an official visit on April 15.

Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara and Alabama defensive tackle Marcell Dareus will both be at Redskins Park on the 17th.

USC offensive tackle Tyron Smith is scheduled to arrive on the 18th for another team-facility visit.

Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller has an official visit scheduled with Washington, but Russell is still trying to pin down the date.

Other prospects confirmed to be on the Skins’ radar are Virginia Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor, Baylor guard Danny Watkins, Penn State running back Evan Royster, TCU quarterback Andy Dalton, Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley, Purdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan, Florida guard/center Mike Pouncey.
