The dance card for the 2011 NFL Draft in New York City continues to fill up.

A league source interrupted some Florio family time to inform him that USC tackle Tyron Smith will attend the draft.

We’ve heard Smith called the most talented tackle in this draft and compared to D’Brickashaw Ferguson. We’ve also heard people believe that Smith is more well suited for right tackle than left tackle, which hurts his stock.

Also going to New York: Former UCLA linebacker Akeem Ayers, who announced the news on Twitter.

Jason La Canfora also reported that Clemson defensive end Da’Quan Bowers will likely watch from home. La Canfora also mentioned Smith would likely watch from home, but we’ve since learned that’s not the case.

That makes 16 players confirmed to be headed to New York. The rest of the list:

Auburn quarterback Cam Newton, Cal defensive end Cameron Jordan, Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller, Alabama receiver Julio Jones, Iowa defensive end Adrian Clayborn, Alabama running back Mark Ingram, Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert, Georgia receiver A.J. Green, Wisconsin defensive end J.J. Watt, Missouri defensive end Aldon Smith, Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley, Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara, and Alabama defensive tackle Marcel Dareus.
