The Tennessee Titans’ new franchise quarterback is ready to start working out with his teammates.

Rookie quarterback Jake Locker, whom the Titans drafted with the eighth overall pick, told Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean that he’ll be in Nashville next week to work out with his new teammates.

“It would be nice to get to know them and spend time with them, get comfortable and familiar with them and start that whole bonding process,” Locker said. “I want to hit the ground running and be ready to go.”

About a dozen Titans players are regularly working out together at a local high school.
