Lions add Jeff Fisher’s son to coaching staff

Hey, here’s something a little different: An NFL team hired someone.

The Lions announced Thursday they added Brandon Fisher, Jeff’s son, to assist the defensive coaching staff.  Brandon helped out the Titans staff in an informal capacity last year, and Jeff Fisher wanted to add him to the Titans staff in 2011, which apparently drove Titans owner Bud Adams batty.

Instead, Brandon Fisher will get his first NFL job under Jeff Fisher’s former defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.   Brandon Fisher recently wrapped up his collegiate career at the University of Montana.
