Rosenhaus predicts most active two weeks in NFL history

drew-rosenhaus

With the lockout potentially ending (more on that in a bit) this week and free agency expected to begin next week, the level of activity for the league will be high.

How high will it be? Agent Drew Rosenhaus predicted earlier today on ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning that it will be the “most active two-week period in the history of the NFL.”

He’s right. Draft picks, undrafted free agents, and veteran free agents will be hitting the market all at about the same time, and the teams will have to make quick decisions. The agents will, too. Indeed, Rosenhaus said everyone will have to be decisive, and that the result will be the “most time-effective negotiations ever.”

We’ll be covering it every step of the way. And though we likely won’t recapture all the traffic that we lost during the lockout, the NBC server hamsters surely will be cursing us all.

If they survive.
