Cardinals will reimburse employees

Well, the list is finally complete. Sort of.

Every team that took money from non-player employees during the lockout will pay back the money.

Joining the Jets, Dolphins, Chiefs, Falcons, Lions, Bills, and (presumably) Buccaneers are the Cardinals. Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports that team president Mike Bidwill announced during a staff meeting that “they will be reimbursed for furloughs [and] paycuts.”

It’s no small feat, given the Cardinals’ reputation for pinching pennies so hard that Abe Lincoln looks like Marty Feldman.

Now, we wait for the NFL to reimburse its employees who were impacted by the lockout. Whether Commissioner Roger Goodell and/or general counsel Jeff Pash get their own money back remains to be seen.
