Players often use Twitter to break their own news. Giants defensive tackle Justin Tuck took that a step further Thursday, breaking the news that Mathias Kiwanuka will be returning to the Giants.

Take that, OCNN.

“Kiwi is returning to the big blue. Yes sir,” Tuck wrote.

We will be curious to see the contract. Coming off a serious neck injury, Kiwanuka may have taken a one-year deal to boost his value for another run in free agency next year. He’s as talented as any pass rusher that was on the market.

UPDATE: Tom Rock of Newsday says it’s a two-year deal. Great move for the Giants.
