With new arrival Bruce Gradkowski and recently-resigned backup Jordan Palmer unable to practice until the new League Year officially begins, the Bengals need their rookie second-rounder on the field to throw passes to receivers not named Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco.
And they’ll have Andy Dalton on the field. The team announced that the former TCU quarterback has signed his rookie contract.
The move, along with the signing of third-round linebacker Dontay Moch, puts all eight draft picks under contract for the team.
The Bengals also announced the addition of Gradkowski and the re-signing of two unrestricted free agents: running back Brian Leonard and safety Gibril Wilson.
