Todd Heap is heading home to Arizona.

Heap, the tight end who has played his entire 10-year NFL career with the Ravens, has signed with the Cardinals. Heap was born and raised in Arizona, was the state’s high school player of the year his senior year, and played his college ball at Arizona State.

The Ravens released Heap last week and he’s drawn interest from several teams, including the Jets. But he’s decided that Arizona is the place for him.

In 2010 Heap caught 40 passes for 599 yards and five touchdowns.
