The Chiefs won’t have to worry about losing their right tackle. Barry Richardson, a three-year veteran, has signed his one-year tender offer.

As a result, Richardson is under contract for 2011, his fourth NFL season.

Richardson, a sixth-round pick in 2008, started 15 games in 2010. Before the lockout, the Chiefs applied a second-round tender to him.
