Agent Joel Segal confirmed on SportsCenter Monday what seemed readily apparently in the wake of the Randy Moss’ retirement on Monday. He just didn’t get the kind of offers he was looking for.
Segal indicated that Moss didn’t get interest from the teams that he was hoping to play for.
“He’s such a competitor and wanted to go back. However, he wanted to go back in certain places,” Segal said. “He wanted to be on a championship team in his mind.”
Segal said there were offers, but apparently not the right teams. He was asked whether Moss’ mind might change if an attractive offer came from the right team should injuries strike.
“I can’t speak for Randy. One thing I know as an agent, you don’t speak for Randy Moss,” Segal said.
