Every first-round draft pick from this year’s NFL draft has his contract done.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Giants and first-round draft pick Prince Amukamara agreed to terms.
Amukamara was the 19th overall pick, and his deal came hours after No. 17 pick Nate Solder and No. 18 pick Corey Liuget reached their deals.
And so August 4 is the date that the final first-round pick got his deal done. The new rookie wage scale may make lengthy contract negotiations that keep first-round picks out of training camps a thing of the past.
