Ben Leber visits the Seahawks

The pipeline from Minneapolis to Seattle possibly hasn’t dried up, yet.

Veteran linebacker Ben Leber, who spent the past five seasons in Minnesota, has visited the Seahawks, according to Adam Caplan.

The Seahawks have signed former Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, and former Vikings receiver Sidney Rice. In 2006, the Vikings pilfered Seahawks Pro Bowl guard Steve Hutchinson via the notorious “poison pill” offer sheet, prompting the Seahawks to return the favor in nabbing Vikings receiver Nate Burleson.

Leber, a nine-year veteran, spent his first four NFL seasons with the Chargers. He was one of the named plaintiffs in the Brady antitrust lawsuit.

Most importantly, Leber was on the cover of the first PFT Season Preview magazine. (There won’t be a second, at least until 2012.)
