Pimp gets seven years in prison for arranging encounter for Lawrence Taylor

Pro Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor got just six months’ probation when he pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute early this year. The pimp who arranged Taylor’s encounter with a prostitute got a much tougher sentence.

Rasheed Davis, who pleaded guilty to transporting a minor for paid sex in connection with the incident, was sentenced to seven years in prison.

“He sold her body like it was his property,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Amanda Kramer said of Davis. “He worked as a pimp.”

Reading the account of the girl’s statement at the sentencing hearing, it’s hard not to conclude that Taylor got an incredibly light sentence.

“I told Lawrence Taylor it was my first time and that I did not feel comfortable,” the girl said. “He went ahead anyway and had sexual intercourse with me. . . . Every day I look in the mirror and know that I am not the same. It was a nightmare that should never have happened to me and it should never happen to any other teenage girl.”

  1. I’m sorry, L.T. you were a great football player, but you are not a good citizen off the field. I’m a little tired of athletes getting slaps on the hands for very punishable crimes. How many times has this dude been arrested? Maybe he would learn to function as a human being if there were ever some consequences in his life. They should have thrown the book at him.

  2. Hmmmm 6mo. probation for LT and 7 freakin’ years for the Pimp….unbelievable! LT will continue his drug and prostitute life until someone gets the courage to do something more than slap his damn hands. Getting away with this will only enbrazen the dude to take it to the next level until some gets seriously physically injured becuz LT thinks he’s above the law. Plax Burress and Vick the Beagle got the book thrown at them for possessing a gun and fighting dogs, neither of which I think is anywhere as serious as raping a teenager (prostitute or not)……only in America!!

how ironic.. nice quotation marks, though!

  4. Microcosm of this world any more.

Taylor did not think of this little girl, just himself. He is disgusting. Gee Lawrence, what if that was your daughter? Taylor should get life as the lowlife pimp.

Until society gets back to what our ancestors tried to pass down in values, God, religion, accountability, responsibility, what marriage means, what parenthood means, what your country means, you will have this type of stuff all the time, just like London, just like Wisconsin State Fair, just like the principal murdered in Memphis by a student, one can go on and on.

  5. Why all the misguided hate for LT? All he did was call for a hooker. I’m pretty sure he didn’t request an underage one. And please don’t give me any BS about how it was “rape” because of her age. I’m pretty sure the girl knew what she did for a living.

I can believe that LT didn’t know she was underage, but there’s no way I’d believe that the pimp didn’t know. He should have gotten more time, IMO.

“Give me a break. That’s how 90% of girls talk about losing their virginity anyway.”

You need to start hanging out with a better class of women then…

  7. I personally highly doubt it was that girl’s first time, especially if she was who a pimp gave to LT lol

  8. Not really clear that Taylor got off easy. Could be that the Court thought the girl was lying, and that it wasn’t her first time (or that she didn’t say anything at all to Taylor), and it could be that Davis has been pimping this girl for awhile. Could also be that Davis has prior, similar convictions, that would be taken into account when he was being sentenced. It makes sense that a pimp would get a longer sentence than a john. Therefore, without knowing these details, its hard to say Taylor got off easy, just because Davis got 7 years.

  9. Kinda disturbing, the pimp gets 7 years in prison for doing his job and Albert Haynesworth gets a Super Bowl contender and a new contract for not doing his. But seriously, 7 years is long time for pimping.

  10. @steeelfann….man does not need a belief in god to act morally. @picksix401….very funny comment dude. the second LT saw the spongebob undies he should have stopped.

  11. I guess when you can’t give the DA and the judge tickets to Giant home games you get 7 years instead of 6 months probation. What a joke!
