Atari Bigby will try to revive his career in Seattle.
The former Packers safety signed with the Seahawks on Tuesday, the team announced.
Bigby showed flashes of excellence in Green Bay, but too often his big plays were followed by big mistakes. The Seahawks have a very young safety group, with second-year player Kam Chancellor starting at strong safety opposite Earl Thomas.
Bigby provides veteran depth to a group that could use it. He has a decent shot to make the team for someone signed so deep into August.
