ESPN hires Josina Anderson

josinaanderson

Regular PFT readers know we routinely credit Josina Anderson of FOX 31 in Denver for breaking major NFL news. With her solid reporting chops we knew it was only a matter of time before Anderson left FOX 31 for a job that gave her a higher profile, and now that job has come along.

ESPN announced today that it has hired Anderson as a Chicago-based bureau reporter covering the NFL, as well as the NBA and other sports.

Anderson will be a great addition to ESPN’s NFL reporting team. She’s had impressive scoops on significant stories related to the NFL’s drug testing program, major contract signings and the tragic deaths of Broncos players Darrent Williams, Damien Nash and Kenny McKinley.

In addition to working for FOX 31, Anderson served as a correspondent on Showtime’s Inside the NFL last season.
