All 32 NFL teams need to cut their rosters down to the 53-player limit on Saturday, meaning hundreds of NFL players are losing their jobs. We’ll keep you posted on who all those players are right here, with links to PFT posts on the roster cuts for every team.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals got down to 53 players on Friday.
Atlanta Falcons
Got down to 53 with a batch of cuts including John Parker Wilson. Coy Wire and Chauncey Davis were among the early cuts.
Baltimore Ravens
Got down to 53 with Tavares Gooden among the cuts.
Buffalo Bills
The Bills got down to 53 with Ed Wang and Craig Davis among the cuts. Tight end Shawn Nelson was also among the players waived.
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers got down to 61 by cutting defensive tackles Corvey Irvin and Nick Hayden and running back Tyrell Sutton, among others, then got down to 53 later in the day.
Chicago Bears
Running back Chester Taylor was cut on Saturday, and 14 players were cut on Friday along with 10 more on Saturday to reach the 53-man limit.
Cincinnati Bengals
Got down to 53 by putting Bobbie Williams on the suspended list and Bo Scaife on injured reserve, and by cutting a host of players, including Max Jean-Gilles.
Cleveland Browns
Announced 17 cuts early Saturday, and sent Brandon Jackson to I.R. as part of the final 10 necessary moves.
Dallas Cowboys
Running back Chris Gronkowski and defensive lineman Igor Olshansky were among the players let go as the Cowboys cut it down to 53.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos are down to 53 with cuts including tight end Dante Rosario and tight end Dan Gronkowski.
Detroit Lions
Caleb Campbell was among the cuts as the Lions got down to 53.
Green Bay Packers
Brandon Underwood was among the early cuts as the Packers got down to 53.
Houston Texans
Receiver Dorin Dickerson, linebacker Xavier Adibi, defensive lineman Damione Lewis and tight end Anthony Hill are among the cuts. The Texans left themselves some roster flexibility by cutting down to 52.
Indianapolis Colts
Defensive tackle Tommie Harris was cut, as was backup quarterback Dan Orlovsky as the Colts got down to 53.
Jacksonville Jaguars
A bunch of cuts got the Jags down to 53, with a roster that includes new arrival Dwight Lowery and three undrafted rookies.
Kansas City Chiefs
Reshard Langford, Micah Johnson and Zeke Markshausen have been cut. With Tony Moeaki on IR, the Chiefs cut it to 53.
Miami Dolphins
Will Allen and Larry Johnson were the two biggest names cut by the Dolphins. QB Kevin O’Connell, TE Dedrick Epps and S Gerald Alexander are among the other cuts as the Dolphins got down to 53.
Minnesota Vikings
Jaymar Johnson and Stylez G. White were among the cuts as the Vikings got down to 53.
New England Patriots
Brandon Meriweather was released, as was Brandon Tate. Sammy Morris, Niko Koutouvides, Eric Kettani and Landon Cohen were among the cuts as the Patriots got down to 53.
New Orleans Saints
Chris Ivory is headed to the PUP list, and several cuts were announced on Friday. Linebacker Clint Ingram was among the final cuts as the Saints reached the 53-man limit.
New York Giants
Matt Dodge lost the punting competition and was cut. In one of the feel-good stories of the day, Mark Herzlich made the 53-man roster.
New York Jets
Scotty McKnight, the best buddy of quarterback Mark Sanchez, was among the early cuts. Dwight Lowery was traded, while Aaron Maybin remained as the Jets got down to 53.
Oakland Raiders
Trent Edwards was among the cuts as the Raiders got to 53.
Philadelphia Eagles
Phillly cut down to 53, and Joselio Hanson was a big-name cut on Saturday, as were Sinorice Moss, Anthony Hargrove and Derek Landri. Nine cuts were announced on Friday.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers got down to 53 with five cuts on Saturday. On Friday, Byron Leftwich went on injured reserve and a couple dozen players were cut as the Steelers got down to 58.
San Diego Chargers
Seyi Ajirotutu, Laurent Robinson, Kelley Washington, Ogemdi Nwagbuo, Quinton Teal, Ramon Broadway, Ricky Schmitt, Isaac Odim and Kevin Bentley were cut early Saturday along with many more players to reach the 53-player limit.
San Francisco 49ers
Quarterback Josh McCown was cut, and the 49ers’ 53-man roster will have just two quarterbacks.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks placed three players on injured reserve, three more on the physically unable to perform list, designated one player as waived/injured and released 20 players to reach the NFL-mandated limit of 53 players.
St. Louis Rams
Mardy Gilyard was among several cuts on Saturday morning. Seven undrafted free agents were also cut, and Donnie Avery was cut as the Rams reached the 53-man limit.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs cut defensive tackle John McCargo, defensive end Kyle Moore and linebacker Tyrone McKenzie on Friday, and a fifth-round pick was among the notable names who didn’t make the 53-man roster.
Tennessee Titans
Myron Rolle and Stafon Johnson were among a host of Friday cuts. Jacob Ford and Justin Gage were among the early Saturday cuts. They reached the 53-player limit with Ahmard Hall’s suspension and Chris Johnson’s roster exemption.
Washington Redskins
Ryan Torain and Donte Stallworth managed to make the 53-man roster, while Kellen Clemens was among those cut.
