Broncos dump Dante Rosario

Tight end Dante Rosario followed former Panthers coach John Fox from Carolina to Denver. Unfortunately, Rosario won’t be staying.

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that Rosario has been released by the Broncos.

Rosario appeared in all but two games during four seasons with the Panthers, after arriving as a fifth-round draft pick in 2007. The biggest of his five career touchdowns came on the first day of the 2008 regular season in San Diego, when Rosario hauled in a game-winning catch from Jake Delhomme with no time on the clock.

A vested veteran, Rosario immediately becomes a free agent upon being officially released.
